On July 28, 2026, pork prices recorded a downward trend

Pork prices on July 28th showed a downward trend in the southern provinces. Nationwide prices fluctuated between 60,500 and 63,500 VND/kg, averaging 62,000 VND/kg, remaining stable compared to yesterday but still 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

  • Northern region: Average pork price reached 62,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to July 27th, but still 1,250 VND/kg lower than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 62,000 to 63,500 VND/kg.
  • Central and Central Highlands region: Average pork price reached 61,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 2,250 VND/kg compared to last week. Common purchase prices range from 60,500 to 61,500 VND/kg.
  • Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 61,500 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to July 27th and 1,250 VND/kg compared to the previous week. The Southwest region reached 62,000 VND/kg, down 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg compared to the same period last week. The common transaction price in the Southern region is currently in the range of 61,000 – 62,500 VND/kg.
  • The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 63,000 VND/kg, about 1,000 VND/kg higher than the national average price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage in quality and farming efficiency.
