Pork prices on October 14th saw a slight decrease in some provinces in the Southeastern region. Nationwide pork purchase prices currently range from 50,500 to 53,500 VND/kg, averaging 52,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

• Northern region: Average pork price reached 52,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and stable compared to the same period last week. Transaction prices fluctuated between 52,000 and 52,500 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands region: Average pork price reached 52,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Purchase prices fluctuated between 52,000 and 53,000 VND/kg.
• Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 51,500 VND/kg, down 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 53,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Current transaction prices in the Southern region range from 50,500 to 53,500 VND/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 53,000 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The price of GF24 piglets is currently about 750 VND/kg higher than the market price, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat, which is highly valued by traders.
