On August 27, 2026 duck meat prices continued to rise

The poultry market on August 27th saw mixed trends. In the northern provinces, the prices of Ri and Mia chickens saw a slight decrease. Minh Du chicken prices remained stable in the central provinces and increased slightly in the southeastern region. Meanwhile, duck meat prices continued to rise in the North, but maintained a downward trend in the central and southern provinces.

  • Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading between 44,500 and 47,500 VND/kg.
  • Mia chicken prices in the North also decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 44,500 and 48,500 VND/kg. In the central region, Mia chicken prices remained stable at 37,500 VND/kg.
  • The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 36,500 VND/kg, a slight increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices remained stable at around 35,500 – 36,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices were unchanged compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 35,500 – 37,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices increased slightly by 500 VND/kg, currently commonly ranging from 36,500 – 37,500 VND/kg.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 45,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. In Northern Vietnam, prices increased slightly by 500 VND/kg, currently reaching 43,000 – 45,500 VND/kg. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased slightly by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 45,500 – 48,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading at around 45,500 – 46,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices decreased slightly by 250 VND/kg, with traders currently buying at around 45,500 – 46,500 VND/kg.
