1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices on July 1st continued to decline slightly nationwide. The average price of live pigs currently fluctuates between 61,500 and 64,500 VND/kg, reaching an average of 63,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

• Northern region: The average price of live pigs reached 64,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 2,000 VND/kg lower than last week. Prices in most localities are trading between 62,500 and 64,500 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands region: The average price of live pigs reached 62,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. The prevailing purchase price currently ranges from 61,500 to 62,500 VND/kg.
• Southern region: Live pig prices continued to fall on July 1st. The Southeast region saw a decrease of 250 VND/kg, remaining at 62,000 VND/kg, 750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. The Southwest region decreased by 500 VND/kg to 62,000 VND/kg, 1,000 VND/kg lower than last week. The prevailing transaction price in the Southern region is currently between 62,000 and 62,500 VND/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to GREENFEED standard procedures) is currently 64,000 VND/kg, about 1,000 VND/kg higher than the national average pig price, continuing to maintain a positive difference thanks to the quality and uniformity of the pig herd.

2.PIG PRICE

Poultry prices on July 1st showed mixed trends. Prices for Ri chicken, Mia chicken, and Minh Du chicken continued to fall, while duck meat prices increased sharply nationwide.

• Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Traders are currently buying at around 39,500 – 42,000 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices continued to fall on July 1st. In the North, Mia chicken prices decreased by 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently ranging from 44,000 – 45,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg was also recorded, falling to around 41,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 42,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased by 1,500 VND/kg, currently trading at around 40,250 – 42,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 42,750 – 43,750 VND/kg, while in the Southwest region, prices decreased by 750 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 43,000 – 43,500 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 45,000 VND/kg, an increase of 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in Northern Vietnam increased slightly by 250 VND/kg, currently trading at around 42,250 – 44,250 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam increased by 1,000 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 43,500 – 47,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices increased by 750 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 46,500 and 48,500 VND/kg. The Southwest region recorded the strongest increase of 1,750 VND/kg, with common purchase prices ranging from 46,000 to 48,500 VND/kg.
