1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices on September 30th continued their downward trend in most regions nationwide. The nationwide purchase price for live pigs currently ranges from 55,000 to 57,000 VND/kg, averaging 56,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 2,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

• Northern region: The average price of live pigs reached 55,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 3,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Transaction prices fluctuated between 55,000 and 56,500 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands region: The average price of live pigs reached 56,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Purchase prices fluctuate between 55,500 and 57,000 VND/kg.
• Southern region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 56,500 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 56,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Transaction prices in the Southern region currently fluctuate between 55,500 and 57,000 VND/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 56,500 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The price of GF24 piglets is currently about 850 VND/kg higher than the market price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage thanks to the meat quality highly valued by traders.

2.POULTRY PRICE

On September 30th, the poultry market saw a decrease in Ri chicken prices in the North, while Mia chicken prices remained stable compared to yesterday. Minh Du chicken prices also saw a slight decrease in the Southwestern provinces. Duck meat prices showed mixed trends, slightly increasing in the North but decreasing in the South.

• Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading between 45,500 and 47,500 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices in the North remained stable compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 47,000 and 48,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices continued to remain stable at 43,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 39,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in the Central region remained stable between 38,000 and 42,000 VND/kg. The price of duck meat in the Southeast region remained unchanged compared to yesterday, currently ranging from 38,000 to 38,500 VND/kg. The Southwest region saw a decrease of 500 VND/kg, generally around 37,500 to 38,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 39,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. The North increased by 500 VND/kg, currently reaching 41,000 to 42,500 VND/kg. The Central region maintained prices in the range of 33,500 to 37,500 VND/kg. The Southeast region decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently at 34,000 to 37,500 VND/kg. The Southwest region also decreased by 500 VND/kg, with traders currently purchasing at around 36,000 to 36,500 VND/kg.
