On June 17, 2026 duck meat prices tended to decrease

Poultry prices on June 17th remained generally stable. Ri chicken and Minh Du chicken maintained their average prices nationwide; Mia chicken saw a slight increase, while duck meat prices decreased in the North and Central regions but continued to recover strongly in the Southern provinces.

  • Ri chicken prices in the North on June 17th reached 41,500 VND/kg, similar to yesterday, with purchase prices maintaining between 41,000 and 42,500 VND/kg.
  • Mia chicken prices in the North increased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading commonly between 47,000 and 48,500 VND/kg. On the other hand, prices in the Central region decreased by 750 VND/kg, fluctuating around 46,500 to 47,000 VND/kg.
  • Minh Du chicken prices: The average nationwide reached 46,000 VND/kg, similar to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices on June 17th increased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently ranging from 43,500 to 44,500 VND/kg. The Southeast region maintained stable prices around 46,500 to 47,000 VND/kg. Conversely, the Southwest region decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 47,000 to 47,750 VND/kg.
  • Duck meat prices: The national average reached 42,000 VND/kg, a slight decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The North saw a sharp decrease of 1,000 VND/kg, currently fluctuating from 44,500 to 46,000 VND/kg. The Central region decreased by 750 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 37,000 to 43,500 VND/kg. Conversely, the Southeast region saw a sharp increase of 1,500 VND/kg, trading at 36,500 – 38,000 VND/kg, while the Southwest region increased by 2,250 VND/kg, currently commonly ranging from 37,000 – 37,500 VND/kg.
