1.PIG PRICE

Today, June 8th, live pig prices in the Southern provinces have decreased, with prices ranging from 63,500 to 68,000 VND/kg. This is nearly 1,400 VND/kg lower than the prices recorded during the same period last week.

• In the Northern region: live pig prices remain unchanged compared to June 6th, with purchase prices across the region currently hovering around 66,500 – 68,000 VND/kg. This is nearly 850 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.
• Northern region: Live pig prices today remain unchanged compared to June 6th.) Central and Central Highlands regions: Prices remained stable on June 8th, with traders currently purchasing live pigs at 63,500 – 65,500 VND/kg, nearly 1,700 VND/kg lower than the price recorded during the same period last week.
• Southern regions: Live pig prices on June 8th decreased by 500 – 1,000 VND/kg compared to June 6th. Traders are currently purchasing pigs at around 63,500 – 64,000 VND/kg, nearly 2,300 VND/kg lower than the price recorded during the same period last week.
• Pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling for 500-1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price offered by other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE

On June 8th, the price of colored chickens in the Northern region continued its downward trend, while Minh Du chicken prices continued to rise in the Southern provinces. Duck meat prices on June 8th showed contrasting trends in the North and South.

• The price of Ri chicken in the North today, June 8th, decreased by 500-1,500 VND/kg compared to June 6th, with traders currently buying Ri chicken at around 44,500-46,500 VND/kg.
• The price of Mia chicken in the North also decreased by approximately 500-1,000 VND/kg. Accordingly, the average price of Mia chicken in the North is currently around 48,000-49,000 VND/kg.
• Minh Du chicken prices on June 8th saw a slight decrease of 500 VND/kg in some provinces in the Central region, currently fluctuating between 44,000 and 46,500 VND/kg. Southern provinces continued to increase by 500-1,000 VND/kg on June 8th, with Minh Du chicken prices reaching 46,000-47,500 VND/kg in the Southeast and 47,500-48,000 VND/kg in the Southwest.
• Duck meat prices on June 8th showed mixed trends. Northern provinces saw a decrease of 500-1,500 VND/kg on June 8th, currently standing at 49,000-50,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices increased slightly by 500-1,000 VND/kg compared to June 6th, currently reaching 34,000-38,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, duck meat prices on June 8th increased by 1,000-2,000 VND/kg compared to June 6th, currently holding at 33,000-34,000 VND/kg. The Southwest region also saw an increase of 1,000-2,000 VND/kg, with duck meat prices currently at 34,000-35,000 VND/kg.
