1.PIG PRICE

On October 30th, live pig prices showed a downward trend in the southern provinces, while remaining stable in the northern region. Nationwide live pig purchase prices currently range from 43,000 to 47,000 VND/kg, averaging 44,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 2,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

• Northern region: Average live pig price reached 44,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 2,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Transaction prices fluctuated between 43,000 and 44,000 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands region: Average live pig price reached 45,500 VND/kg, down 250 VND/kg from yesterday and 2,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Purchase prices fluctuate between 45,000 and 46,500 VND/kg.
• Southern region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 44,500 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 3,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 46,500 VND/kg, down 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 4,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Transaction prices in the Southern region currently fluctuate between 43,000 and 47,000 VND/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 45,500 VND/kg, down 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The price of GF24 piglets is currently about 800 VND/kg higher than the market price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage thanks to the meat quality highly valued by traders.

2.POULTRY PRICE

On October 30th, the poultry market saw a slight increase in Ri chicken prices in the North, while Mia chicken prices decreased slightly. Minh Du chicken prices remained stable nationwide. Duck meat prices decreased in the Northern, Central, and Southeastern provinces, while remaining stable in the Southwestern region.

• Ri chicken prices in the North increased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading between 49,500 and 51,500 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices in the North decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 49,500 and 54,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices remained unchanged at 43,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide remained at 43,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Prices in Central Vietnam remained stable, fluctuating between 41,000 and 42,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region remained stable at 41,500 to 42,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southwest region remained stable, generally ranging from 42,500 to 45,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 36,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in the North decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently at 35,500-36,500 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam decreased by 500 VND/kg, fluctuating between 32,500 and 37,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently around 33,000-34,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices remain stable, with traders currently buying at around 35,000 – 37,000 VND/kg.
