1.PIG PRICE

Today, June 3rd, live pig prices continue to see a slight decrease in most regions nationwide. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 64,000 – 68,000 VND/kg, nearly 1,850 VND/kg lower than the prices recorded during the same period last week.

• Northern region: Live pig prices on June 3rd decreased by 500 VND/kg in some provinces and cities, bringing the purchase price across the region to 66,500 – 68,500 VND/kg, nearly 1,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.
• Central and Central Highlands regions: The downward trend continues in most provinces and cities, with a decrease of approximately 500-1,000 VND/kg. Currently, traders are purchasing live pigs at 64,000-65,500 VND/kg, a price nearly 2,200 VND/kg lower than the price recorded during the same period last week.
• Southern region: Live pig prices on June 3rd also recorded a decrease of 500-1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Traders are currently purchasing pigs at around 64,000-64,500 VND/kg, a price nearly 3,200 VND/kg lower than the price recorded during the same period last week.
• Pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling for 500-1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price offered by other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE

The price of Ri chicken in the Northern region continued its downward trend on June 3, on the contrary, the price of Minh Du chicken continued to increase in the Central and Southern provinces. Duck meat prices on June 3 recorded mixed developments in the North and South. Currently, meat duck prices in the North are 10,000 VND/kg higher than in the Southern provinces.

• The price of Northern Ri chicken today, June 3, decreased slightly by 500 – 1,000 VND/kg compared to June 2, currently traders are buying Chicken Ri around 49,000 – 50,000 VND/Kg.
• Northern Cane Chicken prices did not record any price fluctuations today. Accordingly, the price of Mia chicken in the North is currently in the range of 49,500 – 50,500 VND/Kg.
• Minh Du chicken price on June 3 increased slightly in the Central provinces, currently fluctuating between 45,000 – 47,000 VND/kg. Southern provinces continued to increase by 500 – 1,000 VND/kg on June 3, accordingly, the price of Minh Du chicken currently reaches 44,500 – 46,500 VND/Kg in the Southeast and 47,000 – 47,500 VND/Kg in the Southwest.
• Duck meat prices on June 3 recorded mixed developments. Accordingly, the upward momentum in the North has slowed down but today’s price is still 500 – 1,000 VND/Kg higher than yesterday, currently at 48,500 – 49,500 VND/Kg. The Central region decreased by 500 – 1,000 VND/Kg compared to June 2, bringing the price to 35,000 – 40,000 VND/Kg. The Southeast continues to decrease by 500 – 1,000 VND/Kg, currently 33,000 – 34,000 VND/Kg. But with a slight increase of 500 – 1,000 VND/Kg in the Southwest, the price of duck meat in this area is currently anchored at 35,500 – 36,500 VND/Kg.
