Poultry prices on July 6th generally did not show many positive developments. Northern Ri chicken prices continued to fall, Mia chicken prices also saw a slight decrease, while Minh Du chicken prices recovered slightly in Southern provinces but remained lower in Central provinces. On the other hand, duck meat prices showed varying trends across regions.
- Northern Ri chicken prices decreased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Traders are currently buying at around 37,500 – 41,000 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices decreased by 500 VND/kg in Northern Vietnam, currently trading at around 43,000 – 44,500 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Central Vietnam maintained stable prices at 41,000 VND/kg.
- The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 43,000 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, Minh Du chicken prices decreased by 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading at around 40,750 – 41,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices increased by 500 VND/kg today, fluctuating between 42,750 – 43,750 VND/kg. The Southwest region also recorded an increase of 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading at 43,500 – 45,000 VND/kg.
- The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 44,500 VND/kg, remaining stable compared to yesterday. In the North, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading at around 42,250 – 45,250 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices increased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, commonly trading at 43,000 – 46,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices increased by 250 VND/kg, currently reaching 44,500 – 48,000 VND/kg. The Southwest region also recorded an increase of 750 VND/kg today, with common purchase prices ranging from 46,500 – 48,000 VND/kg.
