On September 11, 2026 duck meat prices decreased quite sharply.

On September 11th, the poultry market saw a decrease in the prices of Ri and Mia chickens in Northern Vietnam. Minh Du chicken prices increased in the Southeast region but decreased in the Mekong Delta provinces, while duck meat prices fell significantly nationwide, especially in the Southeast.

  • Ri chicken prices in Northern Vietnam decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading between 44,000 and 46,500 VND/kg.
  • Mia chicken prices in Northern Vietnam also decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 45,000 and 48,000 VND/kg. In Central Vietnam, Mia chicken prices remained stable at 40,500 VND/kg.
  • The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 38,000 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in Central Vietnam remained stable, currently trading in the range of 35,000 – 40,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently around 35,000 – 36,000 VND/kg. Conversely, prices in the Southwest region increased by 500 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 36,000 – 39,000 VND/kg.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 45,000 VND/kg, a sharp decrease of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in the North decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 47,000 – 48,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Central region decreased by 1,250 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 38,000 – 45,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices dropped sharply by 2,500 VND/kg, currently around 38,000 – 39,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices decreased by 1,250 VND/kg, with traders currently buying at around 42,000 – 44,500 VND/kg.
