- Northern region: The average price for live pigs reached 58,500 VND/kg, stable compared to September 2nd and 250 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 58,000 to 59,000 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands region: The average price for live pigs reached 59,000 VND/kg, unchanged from September 2nd and 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Common purchase prices range from 57,000 to 59,500 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 56,000 VND/kg, remaining unchanged compared to September 2nd but 250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 58,000 VND/kg, showing no change compared to September 2nd and the same period last week. Transaction prices in the Southern region currently fluctuate between 56,000 and 58,500 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reaches 59,000 VND/kg, about 1,000 VND/kg higher than the market price, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat valued by traders.
