1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices on September 21st showed a downward trend in most regions nationwide. The nationwide purchase price for live pigs currently ranges from 56,500 to 59,500 VND/kg, averaging 58,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to September 19th and 750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

• Northern Region: The average price of live pigs reached 59,000 VND/kg, unchanged from September 19th and 750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Transaction prices fluctuated between 58,500 and 59,500 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands Region: The average price of live pigs reached 58,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to September 19th and 1,250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Purchase prices fluctuate between 56,500 and 59,000 VND/kg
• Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 57,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to September 19th but remaining unchanged compared to the same period last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 57,500 VND/kg, a sharp decrease of 1,000 VND/kg compared to September 19th and 500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Transaction prices in the Southern region currently fluctuate between 56,500 and 58,500 VND/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reaches 59,500 VND/kg, approximately 1,050 VND/kg higher than the market price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat valued by traders.

2.POULTRY PRICE

On September 21st, the poultry market saw a slight decrease in Ri chicken prices in the Northern provinces, while Mia chicken prices remained stable compared to September 19th. Minh Du chicken prices increased again in the Central and Southern provinces, while duck meat prices decreased nationwide, especially in the Northern region.

• Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to September 19th, currently trading between 45,500 and 47,500 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices in the North remained unchanged today, fluctuating between 46,500 and 48,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices remained stable at 41,000 VND/kg.
  The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 38,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to September 19th. In Central Vietnam, prices increased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 37,000 – 40,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently reaching 37,000 – 37,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices increased by 500 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 37,000 – 38,500 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 39,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 1,250 VND/kg compared to September 19th. Prices in Northern Vietnam decreased sharply by 2,000 VND/kg, currently at 41,000 – 42,000 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam decreased by 1,250 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 33,500 – 38,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently ranging from 33,000 to 36,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices decreased by 250 VND/kg, with traders currently buying at around 36,500 to 37,000 VND/kg.
