1.PIG PRICE
On August 27th, live pig prices recorded a slight decrease in the Northern and Southeastern provinces. Nationwide live pig purchase prices ranged from 56,000 to 59,000 VND/kg, averaging 58,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday but 250 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
- Northern region: Average live pig price reached 58,000 VND/kg, down 250 VND/kg from yesterday and 250 VND/kg from last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 57,500 to 58,500 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands region: Average live pig price reached 58,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and similar to the same period last week. Common purchase prices ranged from 57,000 to 58,500 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: The average price of live pigs in the Southeast region reached 56,500 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday but 250 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. In the Southwest region, the average price reached 58,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Current trading prices in the Southern region range from 56,000 to 59,000 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 59,000 VND/kg, approximately 1,050 VND/kg higher than the market price, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat, which is highly valued by traders.

2.POULTRY PRICE
The poultry market on August 27th saw mixed trends. In the northern provinces, the prices of Ri and Mia chickens saw a slight decrease. Minh Du chicken prices remained stable in the central provinces and increased slightly in the southeastern region. Meanwhile, duck meat prices continued to rise in the North, but maintained a downward trend in the central and southern provinces.
- Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading between 44,500 and 47,500 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices in the North also decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 44,500 and 48,500 VND/kg. In the central region, Mia chicken prices remained stable at 37,500 VND/kg.
- The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 36,500 VND/kg, a slight increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices remained stable at around 35,500 – 36,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices were unchanged compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 35,500 – 37,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices increased slightly by 500 VND/kg, currently commonly ranging from 36,500 – 37,500 VND/kg.
- The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 45,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. In Northern Vietnam, prices increased slightly by 500 VND/kg, currently reaching 43,000 – 45,500 VND/kg. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased slightly by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 45,500 – 48,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading at around 45,500 – 46,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices decreased slightly by 250 VND/kg, with traders currently buying at around 45,500 – 46,500 VND/kg.
