On May 25, 2026, pork prices decreased slightly

Today, May 25th, live pig prices decreased slightly by 500-1,000 VND/kg in the Northern and Southeastern regions. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 67,000-69,000 VND/kg, a price similar to that recorded during the same period last week.

• Northern region: Live pig prices on May 25th decreased by 500 VND/kg in most provinces and cities. Prices across the region are currently fluctuating between 68,000-69,000 VND/kg, still nearly 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
• Central and Central Highlands regions: A downward trend was also observed, with a decrease of approximately 500 VND/kg in the North Central provinces. Currently, traders are purchasing live pigs at around 67,000 – 67,500 VND/kg, nearly 900 VND/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.
• Southern region: Live pig prices on May 25th also showed a downward trend in the Southeastern provinces. Traders are currently purchasing pigs at around 68,000 – 68,000 VND/kg, nearly 1,000 VND/kg lower than the price recorded in the same period last week.
• Pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling for 500-1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price offered by other companies.
