1.PIG PRICE
Pork prices on July 24th recorded a slight decrease in some areas of Northern Vietnam but a slight increase in some provinces of the Southwestern region. The nationwide price range fluctuated between 61,500 and 64,500 VND/kg, averaging 63,000 VND/kg, remaining stable compared to yesterday but still 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.
- Northern Vietnam: Average pork price reached 63,000 VND/kg, down 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 2,000 VND/kg lower than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 62,500 to 64,500 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands regions: Average pork price reached 62,000 VND/kg, remaining stable compared to yesterday but 2,000 VND/kg lower than last week. Common purchase prices range from 61,500 to 63,000 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: The Southeast region maintained an average price of 62,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,250 VND/kg lower than last week. The Southwest region increased by 500 VND/kg, reaching 63,000 VND/kg, but is still 250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Common transaction prices in the Southern region are currently in the range of 62,000 – 63,500 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently at 64,000 VND/kg, about 1,150 VND/kg higher than the national average pig price, continuing to maintain its advantage in quality and farming efficiency.

2.POULTRY PRICE
Poultry market on July 24th: Ri chicken prices continued to increase slightly in the North; Mia chicken prices in the North decreased slightly compared to yesterday; Minh Du chicken prices decreased in most areas nationwide; while duck meat prices decreased in the North and Central regions but recovered in the Southern provinces.
- Ri chicken prices in the North increased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading in the range of 41,000 – 43,500 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices in the North decreased by 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating in the range of 40,000 – 45,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices remained stable around 35,000 – 36,000 VND/kg.
- Minh Du chicken prices nationwide averaged 40,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating around 38,500 – 39,500 VND/kg. The Southeast and Southwest regions also recorded a decrease of 500 VND/kg, trading in the range of 39,250 – 40,500 VND/kg in the Eastern region and 39,500 – 41,500 VND/kg in the Southwest provinces.
- The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 37,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Northern Vietnam saw a decrease of 500 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 32,000 – 33,750 VND/kg. Central Vietnam also decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading at 33,000 – 45,500 VND/kg. Conversely, the price in the Southeast region increased by 500 VND/kg, reaching 42,000 – 45,500 VND/kg, while the Southwest region also recorded an increase of 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently ranging from 45,500 – 46,500 VND/kg.
