Pork prices on July 30th decreased in some provinces in Central and Southern Vietnam. The nationwide price ranged from 60,000 to 63,000 VND/kg, averaging 61,500 VND/kg, down 250 VND/kg from yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.
- Northern Vietnam: Average pork price reached 62,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday but 1,250 VND/kg lower than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 61,500 to 63,000 VND/kg.
- Central Vietnam – Central Highlands: Average pork price reached 60,500 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg from yesterday and 2,000 VND/kg compared to last week. Common purchase prices range from 60,000 to 61,000 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 61,000 VND/kg, down 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg compared to last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 61,500 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Common transaction prices in the Southern region are currently in the range of 60,500 – 61,500 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 62,500 VND/kg, about 750 VND/kg higher than the national average price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage in quality and farming efficiency.
