Pork prices on June 11th remained generally stable compared to yesterday. The average price of live pigs nationwide currently ranges from 63,000 to 68,500 VND/kg, averaging 66,000 VND/kg, approximately 500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

• Northern region: Pork prices remain stable, averaging 68,000 VND/kg, 500 VND/kg higher than last week. Prices in most localities are currently trading between 66,500 and 68,500 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands region: The market remains sluggish, with an average price of 64,500 VND/kg, approximately 500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Common purchase prices currently range from 63,500 to 65,500 VND/kg.
• Southern Region: Live pig prices did not record significant fluctuations on June 11th. The Southeast region currently averages 63,500 VND/kg, 500 VND/kg lower than last week; the Southwest region averages 63,500 VND/kg, 1,000 VND/kg lower. Common transaction prices in the Southern region are currently in the range of 63,000 – 63,500 VND/kg.
• Live pig prices for GF24 (raised according to GreenFeed standard procedures) currently reach 67,000 VND/kg, approximately 950 VND/kg higher than the national average live pig price, continuing to maintain a high price difference due to the market’s positive assessment of meat quality.
