Pork prices on August 24th remained relatively stable compared to the end of last week. Nationwide pork purchase prices ranged from 55,500 to 59,000 VND/kg, averaging 58,000 VND/kg, unchanged from August 22nd and 1,500 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
- Northern region: Average pork price reached 58,500 VND/kg, unchanged from August 22nd and 1,500 VND/kg higher than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 58,000 to 59,000 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands region: Average pork price reached 58,000 VND/kg, unchanged from August 22nd and 2,000 VND/kg higher than last week. Common purchase prices range from 57,000 to 58,500 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 56,500 VND/kg, showing no price change compared to August 22nd and 1,250 VND/kg higher than the previous week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 57,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to August 22nd and 1,250 VND/kg compared to the same period last week. Current transaction prices in the Southern region range from 55,500 to 58,500 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently stands at 59,500 VND/kg, approximately 1,350 VND/kg higher than the market price, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat valued by traders.
