The poultry market on September 8th recorded a slight downward trend in the prices of Ri and Mia chickens in the North. Minh Du chicken prices decreased in most areas nationwide. Duck meat prices also decreased nationwide, with a drop of 500-1,000 VND/kg, with the largest decrease recorded in the Southeast region.
- Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to September 7th, currently trading in the range of 45,500-48,500 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices in the North decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating in the range of 45,500-49,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices remained stable at 40,500 VND/kg.
- The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 38,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices for duck meat decreased by 250 VND/kg in Central Vietnam, currently trading between 35,500 and 40,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently ranging from 35,500 to 37,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southwest region also decreased by 500 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 37,000 to 39,000 VND/kg.
- The average price for duck meat nationwide reached 45,000 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in the North decreased by 750 VND/kg, currently trading between 45,500 and 46,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Central region decreased by 750 VND/kg, currently around 42,000 to 45,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region dropped sharply by 1,000 VND/kg, currently around 41,500 to 42,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices have decreased by 250 VND/kg, with traders currently buying at around 44,500 – 46,000 VND/kg.
