On September 4, 2026 duck meat prices showed an upward trend

On September 4th, the poultry market saw a slight increase in the prices of Ri and Mia chickens in Northern Vietnam. Minh Du chicken prices increased in some provinces in Central and Southeastern Vietnam, while remaining stable in Southwestern Vietnam. Duck meat prices showed an upward trend in Northern and Central Vietnam, while remaining stable in Southeastern and Southwestern Vietnam compared to September 3rd.

• Ri chicken prices in Northern Vietnam increased by 250 VND/kg compared to September 3rd, currently trading between 46,000 and 48,500 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices in Northern Vietnam also increased by 250 VND/kg compared to September 3rd, currently fluctuating between 45,500 and 48,000 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam remained stable at 40,500 VND/kg.
• The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 38,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices increased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading between 36,500 and 40,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices increased by 500 VND/kg, currently reaching 36,500-38,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southwest region remained stable, generally around 37,000-38,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 45,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to September 3rd. In Northern Vietnam, prices increased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading between 45,000 and 46,500 VND/kg. In Central Vietnam, prices increased by 250 VND/kg, currently reaching 43,500-45,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices remained around 43,000 – 45,000 VND/kg. The Southwest region saw no price fluctuations today, with traders currently purchasing at approximately 45,500 – 46,000 VND/kg.
