On August 17th, the poultry market saw a decrease in Ri chicken prices in the North, while Mia chicken prices generally remained stable. Minh Du chicken prices increased in the South, while prices in the Central region remained unchanged. Duck meat prices showed an upward trend in all regions, notably the North, Central, and Southeast regions.

• Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to August 15th, currently trading between 44,500 and 46,500 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices in the North remained stable today, currently fluctuating between 43,500 and 47,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices did not fluctuate, currently trading at 37,500 VND/kg.
• The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 37,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to August 15th. Prices in Central Vietnam remained stable at around 36,000 – 38,000 VND/kg. The Southeast region saw an increase of 500 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 35,750 – 37,000 VND/kg. The Southwest region also increased by 500 VND/kg, currently commonly ranging from 36,500 – 39,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 40,000 VND/kg, a sharp increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to August 15th. The North increased by 1,500 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 34,000 – 39,500 VND/kg. The Central region increased by 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the purchase price to 41,000 – 45,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 44,500 – 47,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices increased slightly by 250 VND/kg, with traders currently buying at around 45,500 – 46,500 VND/kg.
