1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices remained stable nationwide on September 10th. The nationwide purchase price for live pigs currently ranges from 57,000 to 59,500 VND/kg, averaging 59,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 500 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.

• Northern Region: The average price for live pigs is 59,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Common transaction prices range from 59,000 to 59,500 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands Region: The average price for live pigs is 58,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday but 250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Common purchase prices range from 58,000 to 59,500 VND/kg.
• Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 57,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 58,000 VND/kg, maintaining the same price as yesterday and showing no change compared to the same period last week. Current transaction prices in the Southern region range from 57,000 to 58,500 VND/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently stands at 60,000 VND/kg, approximately 1,200 VND/kg higher than the market price, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat, which is highly valued by traders.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Poultry market on September 10th: Prices of Ri and Mia chickens decreased in the Northern provinces. Minh Du chicken prices remained stable nationwide. Duck meat prices decreased in the Central and Southern provinces.

• Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently being purchased by traders at around 44,500 – 46,500 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices in the North decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 45,000 – 48,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices remained stable at 40,500 VND/kg.
• The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 37,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Prices in the Central region remained in the range of 35,000 – 40,000 VND/kg. The Southeast region recorded no price fluctuations compared to yesterday, currently hovering around 35,000 – 36,500 VND/kg. The Southwest region also saw no price changes, generally ranging from 36,500 – 38,500 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 46,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The North maintained prices in the range of 47,500 – 48,500 VND/kg. The Central region decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 40,500 – 46,000 VND/kg. The Southeast region decreased by 750 VND/kg, currently around 40,500 – 41,500 VND/kg. The Southwest region decreased by 500 VND/kg, with traders currently purchasing at around 43,500 – 45,500 VND/kg.
