Poultry prices on June 29th continued their downward trend across many product lines. Prices for Ri chickens dropped sharply, while Mia and Minh Du chickens saw slight decreases. Duck meat prices continued to adjust downwards across the board.
- Ri chicken prices on June 29th fell sharply by 1,250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The current common purchase price ranges from 41,000 to 43,000 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices continued to decline in both the North and Central regions. In the North, Mia chicken prices decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, trading in the range of 44,500 to 46,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, a decrease of 500 VND/kg was recorded compared to yesterday, currently around 42,000 VND/kg.
- The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 43,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central and Southeastern Vietnam, prices remained stable, generally ranging from 41,750 – 44,000 VND/kg in Central Vietnam and 43,250 – 44,250 VND/kg in Eastern Vietnam. Southwestern Vietnam saw a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, with traders currently purchasing at around 43,500 – 44,000 VND/kg.
- The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 43,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Northern Vietnam saw a slight increase of 250 VND/kg, currently reaching 43,500 – 44,750 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Central Vietnam experienced a decrease of 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently ranging from 41,500 – 44,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region also decreased by nearly 1,000 VND/kg on June 27th, currently trading in the range of 43,000 – 43,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Southwest region dropped sharply by 1,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently commonly ranging from 40,500 – 42,500 VND/kg.
