Pork prices on June 18th generally remained stable nationwide. The average price of live pigs fluctuated between 62,500 and 68,500 VND/kg, reaching an average of 66,000 VND/kg, similar to yesterday but still 250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

  • Northern region: The average price of live pigs reached 68,000 VND/kg, remaining stable compared to yesterday and 250 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Currently, most localities are trading within the range of 66,500 – 68,500 VND/kg.
  • Central and Central Highlands region: The average price of live pigs reached 64,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday but 750 VND/kg lower than last week. The prevailing purchase price currently ranges from 63,500 to 64,500 VND/kg.
  • Southern region: Live pig prices show mixed trends across regions. The Southeast region maintains an average of 62,500 VND/kg, similar to yesterday but 750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Meanwhile, the Southwest region decreased by 250 VND/kg, down to 63,000 VND/kg and 500 VND/kg lower than last week. The prevailing transaction price in the Southern region is currently in the range of 62,500 – 63,000 VND/kg.
  • The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reaches 67,000 VND/kg, about 950 VND/kg higher than the national average live pig price, continuing to maintain a positive difference thanks to the quality and uniformity of the pig herd.
