The poultry market on July 7th recorded a downward trend across most poultry meat products. Prices for Ri and Minh Du chickens continued to fall. Prices for Mia chickens varied between the North and Central regions. Duck meat prices decreased in the Southern provinces.
- Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Traders are currently buying at around 37,500 – 41,000 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices increased by 500 VND/kg in the North, currently trading at around 42,000 – 45,000 VND/kg. However, they decreased by 1,750 VND/kg in the Central provinces, currently around 39,000 VND/kg.
- The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 42,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices remained stable compared to yesterday, currently at 40,750 – 41,500 VND/kg. Prices decreased by 250 VND/kg in the Southeast and 750 VND/kg in the Southwest compared to yesterday, currently around 42,750 – 43,750 VND/kg in the Southeast and 43,000 – 44,000 VND/kg in the Southwest provinces.
- The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 44,500 VND/kg, remaining stable compared to yesterday. Northern Vietnam recorded no price fluctuations today, currently trading in the range of 42,250 – 45,250 VND/kg. Central Vietnam increased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 44,000 – 47,500 VND/kg. On the other hand, prices in the Southeast region decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, and in the Southwest region decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently hovering around 44,000 – 47,000 VND/kg.
