1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices on July 28th showed a downward trend in the southern provinces. Nationwide prices fluctuated between 60,500 and 63,500 VND/kg, averaging 62,000 VND/kg, remaining stable compared to yesterday but still 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

  • Northern region: Average pork price reached 62,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to July 27th, but still 1,250 VND/kg lower than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 62,000 to 63,500 VND/kg.
  • Central and Central Highlands region: Average pork price reached 61,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 2,250 VND/kg compared to last week. Common purchase prices range from 60,500 to 61,500 VND/kg.
  • Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 61,500 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to July 27th and 1,250 VND/kg compared to the previous week. The Southwest region reached 62,000 VND/kg, down 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg compared to the same period last week. The common transaction price in the Southern region is currently in the range of 61,000 – 62,500 VND/kg.
  • The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 63,000 VND/kg, about 1,000 VND/kg higher than the national average price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage in quality and farming efficiency.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Poultry market on July 28th: ​​Ri chicken prices decreased slightly while Mia chicken prices continued to rise in the North; Minh Du chicken prices decreased across most regions; while duck meat prices are starting to show an upward trend after more than two weeks of decline.

  • Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading in the range of 41,500 – 44,500 VND/kg.
  • Mia chicken prices in the North increased by 750 VND/kg compared to July 27th, currently fluctuating in the range of 42,000 – 47,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices decreased by 250 VND/kg, commonly trading at 35,500 – 36,000 VND/kg.
  • The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 39,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased by 250 VND/kg, currently ranging from 38,500 to 39,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, trading in the range of 38,250 to 39,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices also decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently fluctuating around 38,500 to 41,500 VND/kg.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 37,000 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to July 27th. In Northern Vietnam, prices increased by 250 VND/kg, currently reaching 31,000 to 33,500 VND/kg. In Central Vietnam, prices increased by 500 VND/kg, commonly ranging around 32,000 to 44,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices increased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 42,000 – 47,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southwest region remained unchanged compared to yesterday, generally at 46,500 – 48,000 VND/kg.
