1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices on September 25th decreased in the Northern and Southeastern regions, while remaining stable in the Central and Southwestern regions. Nationwide pork purchase prices currently range from 56,500 to 59,000 VND/kg, averaging 57,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

• Northern region: Average pork price reached 57,500 VND/kg, a sharp decrease of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Transaction prices fluctuated between 57,000 and 58,500 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands region: Average pork price reached 58,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Purchase prices fluctuate between 57,000 and 59,000 VND/kg.
• Southern region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 57,500 VND/kg, down 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 58,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Transaction prices in the Southern region currently fluctuate between 56,500 and 58,500 VND/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reaches 59,000 VND/kg, about 1,250 VND/kg higher than the market price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat valued by traders.

2.POULTRY PRICE

On September 25th, the poultry market saw a simultaneous increase in the prices of Ri and Mia chickens in Northern Vietnam, with Minh Du chickens also recording price increases in most regions nationwide. Duck prices increased slightly in Northern Vietnam but reversed and decreased in Central Vietnam.

• Ri chicken prices in Northern Vietnam increased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading in the range of 46,000 – 48,500 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices in Northern Vietnam also increased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating in the range of 47,500 – 48,500 VND/kg. In Central Vietnam, Mia chicken prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently reaching 42,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 39,000 VND/kg, an increase of 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in Central Vietnam increased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading between 38,500 and 41,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region increased sharply by 1,500 VND/kg, reaching 38,500 to 39,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southwest region increased by 500 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 37,000 to 38,250 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 38,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in Northern Vietnam increased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading between 41,000 and 42,500 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently at 32,500 to 37,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region remained stable at 32,500 to 36,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, no price fluctuations have been recorded; traders are currently buying at around 35,000 – 36,500 VND/kg.
