Pork prices on July 31st showed a slight recovery in the North and Central regions, while the Southeast region continued to decline. The nationwide price range fluctuated between 60,000 and 63,000 VND/kg, averaging 61,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday but still 1,250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.
- Northern region: Average pork price reached 62,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg lower than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 62,000 to 63,000 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands region: Average pork price reached 60,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday but still 1,500 VND/kg lower than last week. Common purchase prices range from 60,000 to 61,500 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 61,000 VND/kg, down 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,250 VND/kg compared to last week. The Southwest region maintained a price of 61,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday but 2,000 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Common transaction prices in the Southern region are currently in the range of 60,500 – 61,500 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 62,500 VND/kg, approximately 850 VND/kg higher than the national average live pig price, continuing to maintain its advantage in quality and farming efficiency.
