Pork prices on September 22nd saw a slight increase in the Southeastern provinces. Nationwide pork purchase prices currently range from 56,500 to 59,500 VND/kg, averaging 58,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

• Northern region: Average pork price reached 59,000 VND/kg, unchanged from September 21st and 750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Transaction prices fluctuated between 58,500 and 59,500 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands region: Average pork price reached 58,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Purchase prices fluctuated between 57,000 and 59,000 VND/kg.
• Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 57,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and unchanged compared to the same period last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 57,500 VND/kg, unchanged compared to yesterday and 500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Current transaction prices in the Southern region range from 56,500 to 58,500 VND/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 59,500 VND/kg, approximately 1,050 VND/kg higher than the market price, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat, which is highly valued by traders.

2.POULTRY PRICE

On September 22nd, the poultry market saw stable prices for Ri chickens in the North, while Mia chickens saw a slight increase. Minh Du chicken prices continued to rise in the Central region, while duck meat prices decreased nationwide.

• Ri chicken prices in the North remained unchanged compared to yesterday, currently trading between 45,500 and 47,500 VND/kg.
• Mia chicken prices in the North increased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently hovering around 46,500 to 48,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices remained stable at 41,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 38,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in the Central region increased by 750 VND/kg, currently reaching 37,000 to 41,000 VND/kg. The Southeast region recorded no price fluctuations, currently ranging from 37,000 to 37,500 VND/kg. The Southwest region maintained a common price range of 37,000 to 38,750 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 38,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The North decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently at 40,500 – 42,000 VND/kg. The Central region decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, fluctuating between 33,000 and 37,000 VND/kg. The Southeast region decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently around 32,500 – 36,000 VND/kg. The Southwest region decreased by 500 VND/kg, with traders currently purchasing at around 36,000 – 36,500 VND/kg.
