Prices for Ri Lai chickens in Northern Vietnam dropped sharply on May 29th, while Minh Du chickens in Southern Vietnam saw a slight decrease. Duck meat prices continued to show positive developments, particularly in Northern provinces.
- Ri Lai chicken prices in Northern Vietnam today, May 29th, decreased by nearly 3,000 VND/kg compared to May 28th, with traders currently buying Ri Lai chickens at around 49,000 – 51,000 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices in Northern Vietnam remained unchanged on May 29th, currently ranging from 49,500 – 50,000 VND/kg.
- Minh Du chicken prices on May 29th continued to remain stable in Central Vietnam, fluctuating between 44,500 – 46,500 VND/kg. The Southeast region also recorded no price change on May 29th, currently ranging from 44,000 to 46,000 VND/kg. The Southwest region saw a slight decrease of 500 VND/kg, now at 45,000 to 46,000 VND/kg.
- Duck meat prices on May 29th showed an upward trend nationwide. The North continued its impressive increase with a rise of 3,000 VND/kg today, reaching 41,000 to 42,000 VND/kg. The Central region increased by 500-1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, with current purchase prices reaching 31,000 to 37,000 VND/kg. The Southeast region maintained prices around 31,000 to 33,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices increased by 500-1,000 VND/kg compared to May 28th, currently standing at 32,000-33,000 VND/kg.
