On June 1st, 2026 duck meat prices showed positive developments

Prices for colored chickens in the Northern region decreased slightly on June 1st. Minh Du chicken prices also saw a slight decrease in the Southeastern region but rebounded to increase in the Southwestern provinces. Duck meat prices continued to show positive developments, especially in the Northern provinces.

  • Ri chicken prices in the Northern region decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg on June 1st compared to May 31st, with traders currently buying Ri chicken at around 49,000 – 51,500 VND/kg.
  • Mía chicken prices in the Northern region remained unchanged on June 1st. The average price of Mía chicken in the North is currently around 49,500 – 50,000 VND/kg.
  • Minh Du chicken prices on June 1st continued to remain stable in the Central provinces, currently fluctuating between 44,500 – 46,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, Minh Du chicken prices have slightly decreased, currently trading at around 43,000 – 45,000 VND/kg. In the Mekong Delta region, prices have increased slightly by 500 VND/kg, reaching 46,000 – 47,000 VND/kg.
  • Duck meat prices on June 1st recorded an upward trend nationwide. The North continued its impressive increase with a rise of 3,000 – 4,000 VND/kg today, with duck meat prices in this area reaching 45,000 – 47,000 VND/kg. The Central region increased by 2,000 – 3,000 VND/kg compared to May 31st, with current purchase prices reaching 35,000 – 40,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast region increased by nearly 3,000 VND/kg, currently reaching 34,000 – 35,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southwest region increased by 1,000 – 2,500 VND/kg compared to May 31st, currently standing at 33,500 – 34,500 VND/kg.
