Poultry market on August 12th: Prices of Ri and Mia chickens decreased slightly in the Northern provinces. Minh Du chicken prices increased slightly in the Central and Southeastern regions but decreased in the Southwestern provinces. Duck meat prices increased slightly in the Central provinces while remaining stable in other areas.
- Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading in the range of 45,000 – 47,500 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices in the North decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating in the range of 43,500 – 48,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading commonly in the range of 37,500 – 38,000 VND/kg.
- The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 37,000 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices increased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently reaching 36,500 – 38,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices also increased by 500 VND/kg, trading in the range of 36,250 – 36,500 VND/kg. Conversely, in the Southwest region, prices decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to August 11th, currently ranging from 36,000 – 37,500 VND/kg.
- The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 40,000 VND/kg, remaining unchanged from yesterday. In Northern Vietnam, prices remained stable at 35,000 – 37,000 VND/kg. In Central Vietnam, prices increased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, bringing the purchase price to 38,000 – 45,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southern region remained unchanged today, with traders currently buying at around 44,500 – 46,000 VND/kg in the Southeast region and 45,500 – 46,500 VND/kg in the Southwestern provinces.
