1.PIG PRICE
Pork prices on July 8th remained generally stable compared to yesterday. The nationwide price range fluctuated between 62,500 and 66,000 VND/kg, averaging 64,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
- Northern region: The average pork price reached 65,000 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday and 1,250 VND/kg higher than last week. Localities are trading within the range of 64,000 – 66,000 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands region: The average pork price reached 63,000 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. The prevailing purchase price currently ranges from 62,500 to 63,500 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: Live pig prices remain stable in both regions. The Southeast region maintains a price of 62,500 VND/kg, 500 VND/kg higher than last week. The Southwest region maintains a price of 63,000 VND/kg, also 500 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. The prevailing transaction price in the Southern region is currently in the range of 62,500 – 63,000 VND/kg.
- Live pig prices for GF24 generation (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reach 65,500 VND/kg, approximately 1,300 VND/kg higher than the national average live pig price, continuing to maintain a positive difference thanks to the quality and uniformity of the pig herd.

2.POULTRY PRICE
Poultry market on July 8th: Ri chicken prices decreased slightly in the North, Mia chicken prices increased in the North but decreased sharply in the Central region, Minh Du chicken prices recovered slightly in the Southwest but continued to decline in the Central and Southeast regions, duck meat prices decreased slightly in the North but increased slightly in the Southern provinces.
- Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Currently, traders are buying at around 37,000 – 40,500 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices increased by 250 VND/kg in the North, currently ranging from 41,000 – 45,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, in the Central region, prices decreased sharply by 2,000 VND/kg, to 37,000 – 37,500 VND/kg.
- The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 43,000 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 40,250 – 41,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, trading in the range of 42,250 – 43,250 VND/kg, while in the Southwest region, prices increased by 750 VND/kg, currently commonly at 43,000 – 45,000 VND/kg.
- The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 44,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Northern Vietnam, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently at 41,750 – 44,750 VND/kg. In Central Vietnam, prices increased by 250 VND/kg, commonly at 44,000 – 48,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices increased by 500 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 45,000 and 47,000 VND/kg, while in the Southwest region, prices remained stable compared to yesterday, commonly trading at around 46,000 to 47,000 VND/kg.
