Updated prices as of April 20, 2026 for livestock products

1.PIG PRICE

Today, April 20th, live pig prices saw a slight increase in some provinces in the Southeast region. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 62,500 – 68,500 VND/kg, an increase of over 500 VND/kg compared to last week. The South remains the region with the highest prices nationwide.

Northern region: Live pig prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday, with the average price across the region fluctuating between 62,500 – 64,000 VND/kg, still 500 VND/kg higher than the price recorded at the same time last week.

Central and Central Highlands regions: Live pig prices also remained unchanged today, with the average purchase price staying at 64,500 – 66,500 VND/kg, 1,000 VND/kg higher than last week.

Southern region: On April 20th, live pig prices increased by 500 VND/kg in some Eastern provinces. Currently, traders are buying live pigs at around 68,000 – 68,500 VND/kg, nearly 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same time last week.

Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling at a price 500 – 1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price of other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE

Northern Ri chicken prices remained unchanged on April 20th, with traders buying Ri chickens at around 50,500 – 52,000 VND/kg.

Northern Mia chicken prices also remained stable today. The average price of Mia chicken in the North is fluctuating between 50,500 – 52,000 VND/kg.

Minh Du chicken prices continued to show positive developments in the Southern provinces. Prices increased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 39,000 – 40,000 VND/kg in the Southeast and 40,000 – 42,000 VND/kg in the Southwest. Prices in the Central region remained stable today, at 42,500 – 43,000 VND/kg.

Duck meat prices on April 20th recorded a decrease in most provinces and cities. In the Northern region, prices continued to fall by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 24,500 – 25,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, prices decreased by 500 – 1,000 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 31,000 – 32,000 VND/kg. In the Southern region, prices dropped sharply by 2,000 – 3,000 VND/kg, with traders buying at around 33,000 – 34,000 VND/kg in the Southeast and 34,000 – 35,000 VND/kg in the Southwest.
