Pork prices on July 10th recorded a slight increase in most regions nationwide. The average price across the country ranged from 62,500 to 66,500 VND/kg, reaching an average of 64,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
- Northern region: The average pork price reached 65,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 64,500 to 66,500 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands region: The average pork price reached 63,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,250 VND/kg higher than last week. Common purchase prices range from 63,000 to 63,500 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: The Southeast region averaged 62,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,250 VND/kg higher than last week. The Southwest region maintained a price of 63,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Common transaction prices in the Southern region are currently in the range of 62,500 – 63,500 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reaches 65,500 VND/kg, 1,100 VND/kg higher than the national average pig price, continuing to maintain a positive difference thanks to the quality and uniformity of the pig herd.
