Pork prices remained stable nationwide on September 10th. The nationwide purchase price for live pigs currently ranges from 57,000 to 59,500 VND/kg, averaging 59,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 500 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
- Northern Region: The average price for live pigs is 59,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Common transaction prices range from 59,000 to 59,500 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands Region: The average price for live pigs is 58,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday but 250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Common purchase prices range from 58,000 to 59,500 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 57,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 58,000 VND/kg, maintaining the same price as yesterday and showing no change compared to the same period last week. Current transaction prices in the Southern region range from 57,000 to 58,500 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently stands at 60,000 VND/kg, approximately 1,200 VND/kg higher than the market price, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat, which is highly valued by traders.
