Pork prices on September 22nd saw a slight increase in the Southeastern provinces. Nationwide pork purchase prices currently range from 56,500 to 59,500 VND/kg, averaging 58,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week.

• Northern region: Average pork price reached 59,000 VND/kg, unchanged from September 21st and 750 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Transaction prices fluctuated between 58,500 and 59,500 VND/kg.
• Central and Central Highlands region: Average pork price reached 58,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Purchase prices fluctuated between 57,000 and 59,000 VND/kg.
• Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 57,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and unchanged compared to the same period last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 57,500 VND/kg, unchanged compared to yesterday and 500 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Current transaction prices in the Southern region range from 56,500 to 58,500 VND/kg.
• The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) is currently 59,500 VND/kg, approximately 1,050 VND/kg higher than the market price, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat, which is highly valued by traders.
