On July 14, 2026 duck meat prices continued to decrease

The poultry market on July 14th saw mixed developments. Prices for Ri and Mia chickens recovered in the North; Minh Du chicken prices decreased in the South, while duck meat prices continued to fall in the North and Southwest regions.

  • Ri chicken prices in the North increased by 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading between 37,500 and 40,000 VND/kg.
  • Mia chicken prices in the North also increased by 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 41,000 and 45,500 VND/kg. Prices in the Central region also increased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading at 36,000 to 37,000 VND/kg.
  • The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 41,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently around 38,500 – 40,000 VND/kg. Southern provinces also recorded a decrease of 500 – 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, with traders currently buying at 41,500 – 42,500 VND/kg in the Southeast region (down 500 VND/kg) and 42,000 – 43,500 VND/kg in the Southwest region.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 42,500 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Northern Vietnam, prices decreased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 39,500 – 40,500 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam remained unchanged compared to yesterday, commonly at 41,500 – 46,500 VND/kg. The Southeast region recorded no price fluctuations today, currently trading around 45,000 – 47,500 VND/kg. The Southwest region saw a slight decrease of 250 VND/kg, with traders buying at around 46,500 – 47,000 VND/kg.
