Poultry market on September 7th: Prices of Ri and Mia chickens in the North have reversed and started to rise again. Minh Du chicken prices decreased in the Central and Southeastern regions, while continuing to increase in the Western provinces. Duck meat prices increased in the North and Central regions but decreased slightly in the Southeastern region.
- Ri chicken prices in the North increased by 250 VND/kg compared to September 5th, currently trading in the range of 46,000 – 48,500 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices in the North increased sharply by 1,000 VND/kg compared to September 5th, currently fluctuating in the range of 46,000 – 48,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices remained stable at 40,500 VND/kg.
- The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 38,500 VND/kg, unchanged from September 5th. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently ranging from 36,000 to 40,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 36,000 and 37,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices increased by 750 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 37,500 to 39,500 VND/kg.
- The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 46,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to September 5th. In Northern Vietnam, prices increased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading at 46,000 to 47,500 VND/kg. In Central Vietnam, prices increased by 500 VND/kg, fluctuating around 42,000 to 46,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading at 41,500 to 44,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices increased by 250 VND/kg, with traders currently buying at around 45,500 – 46,000 VND/kg.
