On June 16, 2026 duck meat prices continued to rise.

The price of colored chickens in the Northern region increased slightly on June 16th, while the price of Minh Du chickens decreased slightly in the Southern provinces. On the other hand, the price of duck meat continued to increase in the Southern provinces.

  • The price of Ri chickens in the North reached 41,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Currently, the purchase price is fluctuating between 41,000 and 42,500 VND/kg.
  • The price of Mia chickens on June 16th increased slightly by 500-1,000 VND/kg in the Southern Red River Delta provinces but decreased slightly by 500 VND/kg in the Northern Red River Delta provinces. Traders are currently buying at around 46,500-48,000 VND/kg.
  • The average price of Minh Du chickens nationwide reached 46,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased slightly by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently ranging from 43,000 to 44,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, to approximately 46,500 to 47,000 VND/kg; in the Southwest region, prices also decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently commonly ranging from 47,000 to 48,250 VND/kg.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 42,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in Northern Vietnam remained stable, trading in the range of 45,500 to 47,500 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam increased sharply by 2,500 VND/kg, currently fluctuating from 36,500 to 44,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices increased by 1,500 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 35,000 to 37,500 VND/kg, while in the Southwest region, prices increased slightly by 500 VND/kg, trading around 34,500 to 35,500 VND/kg.
