On September 28, 2026 Ri chicken and Mia chicken prices also decreased

The poultry market on September 28 recorded a decrease in the price of Ri chicken and Mia chicken in the Northern provinces, while the price of Minh Du chicken increased slightly in the Central region but decreased in the Southeast region. Duck meat prices increased slightly in the Northern and Southern provinces.

• Ri chicken price in the North decreased by 750 VND/kg compared to September 26, currently trading between 46,000 – 47,500 VND/kg.
• The price of Mia chicken in the North decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to September 26, currently fluctuating between 47,000 – 48,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, the price of Mia chicken increased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently reaching 43,000 VND/kg.
• The national average price of Minh Du chicken reached 39,000 VND/kg, unchanged compared to September 26. The Central region increased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading between 38,000 – 42,000 VND/kg. Southeast region decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently around 38,000 – 38,500 VND/kg. The Southwest did not record any fluctuations, commonly in the range of 37,500 – 38,000 VND/kg.
• The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 38,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to September 26. The North increased by 250 VND/kg, currently trading between 41,000 – 42,000 VND/kg. The Central region keeps the price in the range of 32,500 – 36,500 VND/kg. The Southeast increased by 250 VND/kg, currently reaching  500 – 36,500 VND/kg. The Southwest increased by 500 VND/kg, traders are currently purchasing in the range of 36,000 – 36,500 VND/kg.
