Poultry prices on June 23rd showed mixed trends. Prices for Ri chicken, Mia chicken, and Minh Du chicken decreased in some areas, while duck meat prices surged across the board.
- Ri chicken prices in the North reached 44,000 VND/kg, down 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The current common purchase price ranges from 42,500 to 44,500 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices generally decreased slightly. In the North, prices remained at 47,000 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 45,500 to 47,500 VND/kg. Meanwhile, in the Central region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently fluctuating around 44,000 to 44,500 VND/kg.
- The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 45,000 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices remained stable, generally ranging from 43,500 to 44,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, trading around 46,250 to 46,750 VND/kg; while in the Southwest region, prices dropped sharply by 750 VND/kg, currently ranging from 44,750 to 46,750 VND/kg.
- The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 42,000 VND/kg, a sharp increase of 1,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in Northern Vietnam increased by 500 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 41,000 and 42,500 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam increased by 2,000 VND/kg, generally ranging from 40,500 to 43,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices increased sharply by 4,250 VND/kg, trading at 42,500 – 43,000 VND/kg; in the Southwest region, prices also increased by 2,500 VND/kg, currently commonly ranging from 40,000 – 41,000 VND/kg.
