On August 25, 2026 prices for Mia and Ri chickens increased

Poultry market on August 25th: Prices of Ri and Mia chickens increased in the Northern provinces. Minh Du chicken prices also increased in the Central and Southeastern provinces but decreased slightly in the Southwestern provinces. Meanwhile, duck meat prices continued their upward trend in the North, but decreased slightly in the Central and Southeastern provinces.

  • Ri chicken prices in the North increased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading in the range of 45,000 – 47,500 VND/kg.
  • Mia chicken prices in the North increased by 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 44,500 – 49,000 VND/kg. In the Central provinces, Mia chicken prices remained stable at 37,500 VND/kg.
  • The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 36,000 VND/kg, a slight increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices increased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 35,500 – 36,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices also increased by 500 VND/kg, trading in the range of 35,500 – 37,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices decreased slightly by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently ranging from 36,000 – 37,000 VND/kg.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 43,500 VND/kg, an increase of 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in Northern Vietnam increased sharply by 1,500 VND/kg, currently reaching 38,000 – 45,000 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently around 46,000 – 48,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 47,000 – 48,500 VND/kg. Conversely, in the Southwest region, prices increased by 500 VND/kg, with traders currently purchasing at around 45,500 – 48,500 VND/kg.
