1.PIG PRICE

Pork prices on September 14th saw a slight increase in the Northern and Central provinces. Nationwide pork purchase prices currently range from 57,000 to 60,500 VND/kg, averaging 59,000 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,250 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.

  • Northern region: Average pork price reached 59,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,750 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Transaction prices fluctuated between 59,500 and 60,000 VND/kg.
  • Central and Central Highlands region: Average pork price reached 59,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Purchase prices fluctuate between 58,000 and 60,500 VND/kg.
  • Southern region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 57,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and 750 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 58,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday and the same period last week. Transaction prices in the Southern region currently fluctuate between 57,000 and 58,500 VND/kg.
  • The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reaches 60,000 VND/kg, about 1,200 VND/kg higher than the market price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage thanks to the high quality of meat valued by traders.

2.POULTRY PRICE

On September 14th, the poultry market saw a slight decrease in Ri chicken prices in the Northern provinces, while Mia chicken prices remained relatively stable compared to yesterday. Minh Du chicken prices increased in the Central and Southern provinces, while duck meat prices decreased in the North, Central, and Southeastern regions but increased sharply in the Southwestern region.

  • Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently trading in the range of 43,000 – 46,000 VND/kg.
  • Mia chicken prices in the North remained unchanged compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 46,000 – 47,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices continued to be stable at 40,500 VND/kg.
  • The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 38,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in Central Vietnam increased by 250 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 35,500 – 40,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southeast increased by 500 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 35,500 – 36,000 VND/kg. Prices in the Southwest increased by 500 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 36,000 – 39,000 VND/kg.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 43,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in Northern Vietnam decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 44,500 – 46,500 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam decreased by 1,250 VND/kg, currently hovering around 35,500 – 43,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 1,250 VND/kg, currently ranging from 35,500 to 37,500 VND/kg. Conversely, prices in the Southwest region increased sharply by 2,000 VND/kg, bringing the purchase price to 43,000 to 46,500 VND/kg.
