On June 26, 2026 free-range chicken prices remained generally stable

Poultry prices on June 26th continued to show a downward trend across many product lines. Prices for Ri and Minh Du chickens decreased simultaneously, while Mia chicken prices remained generally stable. Meanwhile, duck meat prices reversed their upward trend and decreased in most regions.

  • Ri chicken prices in the North reached 43,000 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The current common purchase price ranges from 42,000 to 44,500 VND/kg.
  • Mia chicken prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. In the North, traders are purchasing Mia chicken at around 45,500 – 47,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices also remained stable at 42,500 VND/kg.
    The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 44,000 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
  • In Central Vietnam, Minh Du chicken prices decreased by 250 VND/kg on June 26th, currently ranging from 42,500 to 44,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, trading around 44,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices decreased by 750 VND/kg, trading commonly between 44,000 and 45,000 VND/kg.
  • The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 43,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In the North, prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, with traders currently purchasing at around 43,000 to 44,500 VND/kg. Conversely, prices in Central Vietnam decreased by 500 VND/kg, trading commonly between 43,000 and 45,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices dropped sharply by 2,000 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 43,000 – 45,500 VND/kg; in the Southwest region, prices dropped sharply by 2,750 VND/kg, currently commonly ranging from 41,500 – 43,000 VND/kg.
