1.PIG PRICE
Today, April 23rd, live pig prices saw a slight increase in some provinces in the North Central and Southwest regions. Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 63,000 – 69,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to last week’s prices. Southern Vietnam continues to maintain the highest prices nationwide.
Northern region: Live pig prices increased slightly in some North Central provinces, with the average price across the region fluctuating between 63,000 – 64,000 VND/kg, an increase of 100 VND/kg compared to yesterday and nearly 500 VND/kg compared to the same period last week.
Central and Central Highlands regions: Live pig prices increased slightly in Hue – Quang Tri, with the current purchase price around 65,000 – 67,000 VND/kg, nearly 500 VND/kg higher than last week.
Southern region: On April 23rd, live pig prices reversed course and increased by 500 VND/kg in some provinces in the Mekong Delta. Traders are currently buying pigs at around 68,000 – 69,000 VND/kg, which is still nearly 500 VND/kg higher than last week.
Live pigs of the GF24 generation, raised according to Greenfeed’s standard process, with meat quality receiving many positive reviews from traders, are currently selling at a price 500 – 1,000 VND/kg higher than the average price of other companies.

2.POULTRY PRICE
Northern Ri chicken prices remained unchanged on April 23rd, with traders buying Ri chickens at around 50,500 – 52,000 VND/kg.
Northern Mia chicken prices continued to increase by 1,000 VND/kg on April 23rd. Accordingly, the average price of Mia chicken in the North is fluctuating between 52,500 – 54,000 VND/kg.
Minh Du chicken prices showed positive developments on April 23rd. Central Vietnam maintained stable prices today, with the average across the region reaching 41,000 – 42,000 VND/kg. The Southeast region continued its upward trend, with increases of 500 – 1,000 VND/kg reaching 41,000 – 42,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices also increased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently reaching 44,000 – 45,000 VND/kg.
Duck meat prices reversed course and increased on April 23rd in the Southern provinces. Specifically, prices in the North remained stable compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 24,500 – 25,000 VND/kg. The Central region saw no price changes today, currently being purchased at around 30,000 – 31,500 VND/kg. Prices in the South increased by 1,000 – 2,000 VND/kg, pushing duck meat prices in the Southeast region to 33,500 – 35,000 VND/kg, and in the Southwest region to 36,000 – 37,000 VND/kg.
