1.PIG PRICE
Pork prices on September 9th continued their upward trend in the Northern, Central, and Southeastern regions of Vietnam. Nationwide pork purchase prices currently range from 57,000 to 59,500 VND/kg, averaging 59,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 500 VND/kg higher than the same period last week.
- Northern region: Average pork price reached 59,500 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Common transaction prices ranged from 59,000 to 59,500 VND/kg.
- Central and Central Highlands region: Average pork price reached 58,500 VND/kg, an increase of 250 VND/kg compared to yesterday but 250 VND/kg lower than the same period last week. Common purchase prices range from 58,000 to 59,500 VND/kg.
- Southern Region: The average price in the Southeast region reached 57,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday and 1,500 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. The average price in the Southwest region reached 58,000 VND/kg, remaining unchanged compared to yesterday and 250 VND/kg higher than the same period last week. Transaction prices in the Southern region currently fluctuate between 57,000 and 58,500 VND/kg.
- The price of GF24 piglets (raised according to the GREENFEED standard process) currently reaches 60,000 VND/kg, approximately 1,200 VND/kg higher than the market price of live pigs, continuing to maintain its advantage due to the high quality of the meat valued by traders.

2.POULTRY PRICE
Poultry market on September 9th: Ri chicken prices in the North decreased, while Mia chicken prices remained stable. Minh Du chicken prices continued to fall in the Central and Southern provinces. Conversely, duck meat prices increased sharply in the Northern provinces but decreased slightly in the Southern provinces.
- Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently being purchased by traders at around 45,000 – 48,000 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices in the North remained stable compared to yesterday, currently fluctuating between 45,500 – 49,000 VND/kg. In the Central region, Mia chicken prices continued to remain stable at 40,500 VND/kg.
- The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 37,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased by 250 VND/kg, currently trading in the range of 35,000 – 40,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently at 35,000 – 36,500 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices also decreased by 500 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 36,500 – 38,500 VND/kg.
- The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 46,000 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Northern Vietnam, prices increased sharply by 2,000 VND/kg, currently reaching 47,500 – 48,500 VND/kg, with some areas recording 49,000 VND/kg. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 41,500 – 46,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 500 VND/kg, currently around 41,500 – 42,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices decreased by 250 VND/kg, with traders currently buying at around 44,000 – 46,000 VND/kg.
