Chicken prices increased on May 19th in both Northern and Southern Vietnam. Meanwhile, duck meat prices also saw positive developments in the Northern and Southwestern provinces, while experiencing a slight decrease in the Southeastern region.
- Northern Ri chicken prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg today, May 19th, compared to May 18th. Traders are currently buying Ri chicken at around 51,500 – 52,500 VND/kg.
- Northern Mia chicken prices saw a slight decrease of 500 VND/kg in the provinces south of the Red River Delta. Accordingly, the price of Mia chicken in the North is currently in the range of 50,500 – 51,500 VND/kg.
- Minh Du chicken prices remained stable in the Central provinces, fluctuating between 44,500 – 46,500 VND/kg. The Southeast region also recorded no price changes, currently hovering around 42,000 – 45,000 VND/kg. The Southwest region continued to increase by 500 VND/kg in some areas, reaching 44,000 – 44,500 VND/kg.
- Duck meat prices on May 19th showed mixed trends. The North recorded an increase of 1,000 VND/kg on May 19th, pushing prices up to 26,000 – 27,000 VND/kg. The Central region increased by 500 VND/kg in some provinces, currently reaching 29,500 – 32,000 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices have slightly decreased by 500-1,000 VND/kg compared to May 18th, currently ranging from 32,000-34,000 VND/kg. In the Southwest region, prices have increased by 500-1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 33,000-33,500 VND/kg.
