Poultry prices on July 1st showed mixed trends. Prices for Ri chicken, Mia chicken, and Minh Du chicken continued to fall, while duck meat prices increased sharply nationwide.
- Ri chicken prices in the North decreased by 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Traders are currently buying at around 39,500 – 42,000 VND/kg.
- Mia chicken prices continued to fall on July 1st. In the North, Mia chicken prices decreased by 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently ranging from 44,000 – 45,500 VND/kg. In the Central region, a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg was also recorded, falling to around 41,000 VND/kg.
- The average price of Minh Du chicken nationwide reached 42,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. In Central Vietnam, prices decreased by 1,500 VND/kg, currently trading at around 40,250 – 42,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 42,750 – 43,750 VND/kg, while in the Southwest region, prices decreased by 750 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 43,000 – 43,500 VND/kg.
- The average price of duck meat nationwide reached 45,000 VND/kg, an increase of 750 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Prices in Northern Vietnam increased slightly by 250 VND/kg, currently trading at around 42,250 – 44,250 VND/kg. Prices in Central Vietnam increased by 1,000 VND/kg, commonly ranging from 43,500 – 47,500 VND/kg. In the Southeast region, prices increased by 750 VND/kg, currently fluctuating between 46,500 and 48,500 VND/kg. The Southwest region recorded the strongest increase of 1,750 VND/kg, with common purchase prices ranging from 46,000 to 48,500 VND/kg.
